Fragments of Self: Journey Towards unity

Fragments of Self: Journey Towards Unity is a meditative exploration of identity, shadow, and the inner child (soul). This series emerged from deeply personal experiences, often dreamlike, spiritual, and unsettling. Through three sculptural acts, it reflects an internal pilgrimage: a confrontation with shadow, a search for wholeness, and the quiet reckoning of identity through form. It begins with The Awakening, a reanimation of subconscious memory and the initiation of purpose. Realisation marks a descent into inner conflict and the tension of dualities, where geometry becomes a language for searching. Finally, Unification is a bold confrontation with the self—an acceptance of paradox, pain, and perception as truth. Together, the series is a sculpted rite of passage—one that moves from innocence, through shadow, into wholeness.

Awakening

PART i  AWAKENING

“The Awakening” emerged from a recurring sleep paralysis vision—three figures layered in states of slumber, emergence, and transcendence. A meditation on inner awakening, the work explores the tension between creation and attachment, ultimately becoming a quiet ritual of release and a quest for self-discovery

Relisation

PART ii  Realisation

A sculptural reflection of inner reckoning, “Realisation” explores the tension between confidence and doubt, clarity and shadow. Aligned at 33-degree angles, the figures become symbolic vessels of self-inquiry—where precision meets vulnerability, and creation becomes a mirror to the soul.

PART iii  Unification

“Unification" The final sculpture becomes a reckoning—a raw, emotional convergence of the self, shadow, and soul. As the figures confront the artist, a silent truth emerges: reality is perception, and healing begins when one dares to see, feel, and unify all parts of the self.
